Eurekapedia: User registration system upgraded

I’ve just commissioned a coder to create a system for downgrading Editors and SysOps for the Eurekapedia. Surprisingly, the MediaWiki script does not have any built-in ability to do this. Why, I really don’t know.

He’s also made some changes to the way the script handles usernames and page titles: Namely, removing the way the script forced an uppercase first letter.

A couple of people from the MediaWiki list felt this change to the script could lead to problems. So far, my testing has not shown any problems.

Eurekapedia™ – Encyclopedia of Creative Heroes

I’ve set up a test site for the Eurekapedia™ which will be an “Encyclopedia of Creative Heroes”.

It will only include historic (non-living) creative heroes.

It will include creative heroes from every field, including entrepreneures, composers, scientists, educators, inventors, sculptors, explorers, etc.
