The mailing system has been fixed and, according to the tests I’ve run so far, seems to be working normally again.
Over the last few days emails from the following sources have been permanently lost.
Please re-send or re-apply, if you have used any of the following:
As you can see, the losses has been extensive.
The problem seems to have been caused by a mass spam attack which may have included a virus attack, which masqueraded as if coming from the PRODOS server.
This resulted in the PRODOS IP address being temporarily blacklisted/blocked. It has now been unblocked.
Thanks to Davide Villani for his assistance with this issue.
Due to exhaustion I cancelled tonight’s PRODOS Thinking Club workshop.
For Monday night’s workshop (Monday, 20th of March)
we will be studying “TEC” – Target, Expand, Contract.
Yesterday evening at PRODOS Thinking Club we studied the Edward de Bono thinking tool: “OPV”. This is about identifying and seeking out all the people/parties involved in a situation, and presenting their viewpoint – as they themselves see it – rather than from your own perspective.
Tonight we’ll be working on “PO: Random Input”.
This is one of the most fun of all the Edward de Bono Methods!
It’s also a thinking tool that needs to be exercised regularly.
As a method it gives you the ability to deliberately
generate new ideas and invent fresh approaches
in practically any circumstance.
Invent a new kind of bicycle wheel.
Invent a new kind of birthday party.
Come up with a new way to resolve border disputes.
Develop a new kind of Church.
As a creative attitude, this use of Po fosters
openess to outside and unexpected stimulus.
Tonight at PRODOS Thinking Club we’ll be studying the Edward de Bono thinking tool, PMI (Plus Minus Interesting).
Venue: Upstairs, Vietnam Town Restaurant, Bridge Road, Richmond.
Time: 7 PM – 9 PM
Cost: By donation
This last week I’ve had a few problems with the FUDForum message board script I was going to use. They now seem to have all been fixed (and in one case the problem was due to my error in installing an upgrade)
[Later entry … ]
Further problems found and now fixed.
This evening at PRODOS Thinking Club we studied an Edward de Bono method called “Escape”, also known as “concept challenge”. It is one of the 3 basic uses of “Po” (Provocative Operation).
Due to Melbourne Cup frivolities and holidays, PRODOS Thinking Club on Monday, and Free Market Roundtable (and Discover Capitalism) on Tuesday will be cancelled for this week.
